Get Cash AND The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I downloaded this game four days ago, and I am currently level 10. This
is the first time I have tried a game like this, and so far I am very
impressed. Anyone could play this and probably do well. However, there
are a few things someone going into this should know.
First of
all, this game is "freemium", so while it is free to download and play,
you have the option to purchase premium in game currency and upgrades.
This game's premium currency is "donuts". You are given a limited
amount of these when you first start. DO NOT WASTE THEM! You will want
them later, trust me. I have not bought any so far, so you definitely
don't need to purchase these, it just allows you to speed up tasks if
you do.
Second of all, you will need to have patience to play
this game. Some buildings can take 24 hrs to build, and there is even
an option to plant corn, which takes 90 DAYS to grow. Again, if you
purchase donuts, you can speed things up, but you will run out quickly.
Third,
this is a SOCIAL GAME, meaning that you can add friends, and see their
towns. Every 24 hrs, you can head over to their town and earn money
from their buildings. So, if you have lots of friends, you can make
lots of cash. If you need people to add, search the Internet, and you
will find people have listed their Origin usernames in the comments to
articles about the game.
Now I'm going to list the Pros and Cons.
PROS
- lots of buildings to build
- many quests to unlock
- Hilarious dialogue
- Playable without spending any money
CONS
- certain buildings can only be bought with donuts
- tasks sometimes take too long
